Atworkorinstudy,thereoftenarecreativetasks.Someprefertodothesetaskscollaboratively,andtheirpreferenceisjustifiable.However,Iaminclinedtoindividualworkasamoredesirableapproach.

Admittedly,onenecessarycharacteristicofcreativejobsisthattheyconsumetimeandpatience,becausesuchjobsareunprecedentedandsetbacksanddisappointmentsofteninterrupttheprocess.Andifthereareteammates,therearesupportandcooperationtoattainthegoal.

However,comparedwithindividualwork,teamworkhasobviousdrawbacks,andaccordingly,individualworkisadvantageous.First,whenagroupofpeopledoacreativejobtogether,eachindividualislikelytobeexcessivelycreative.Asaresult,insteadofcreatingauniformandeclecticidea,participantsaremorelikelytoholddivergentideas,andthedivergencedelaysdecision-making.Bycontrast,thisunfavorablesituationisunlikelytohappentoanindividualwhodoesacreativejobalone.Nomatterhowcreativethisindividualisorhowboldanideais,heorshedoesnothavetoarguewithothers,andadecisioncanbemadeeasilyasnooneinterfereswithhisorherdecision-making.

Workingonacreativetaskalone[分词状语],onealsoavoidstheawkwardnessthat[同位语从句]heorshemayhavetopersuadeconservativeteammatesifthereisateam.Itishighlylikelythat[主语从句]agroupconsistsofbothmemberswhoareabletothinkoutoftheboxandmemberswhoarestuckintackyideas.Ittakesalotoftalkandenergytopersuadethoseold-schooledmemberstoinnovate.Nottomentionthelikelihoodthattheeffortsmayturnouttobefailures.Conversely,workingindependentlysavestheenergy.

Inconclusion,itisplausiblethatsomepeopletendtodocreativetasksonateamorinagroup.Theyhavetheirconsiderations,whichhoweverdonotjustifytheirchoice.Individualwork,incomparison,ismorerecommendableforitsadvantages.
