Contr?ler / control

Contr?ler 和 control 是一对同源词，初的意思是中世纪欧洲的一种记帐方法：contre r?le (registre tenu en double) : a medieval method of checking accounts by aduplicate register.

就是同时记两本帐，以便互相核对。所以，后来法语的 contr?ler(名词contr?le)就有了“核对，检查”(examiner, verifier, inspecter) 的意思。 例如：
