　　用词尽可能少，但不能引起争议，逻辑意思必须单一合理，实现简洁的方法有三个：

　　1、将从句简化为短语。

　　2、将短语简化为词。

　　3、使用忽略手段。

　　为啥嘞?因为这里只有that are可以告诉读者后面的内容修饰的是复数名词jobs,而不是就近的名词skill。因为这里held修饰skill和jobs都从含义上太讲的通了,但是题目需要它修饰的是jobs。

　　这道题目正确答案是A选项。

　　gmat语法介绍本题修饰名词civilization的修饰语从that引导的定语从句和flourishing这样的doing结构中间专门选择了that从句，原因是和doing相比作同一个名词修饰语的时候，that可以传递明确的时间概念，而doing则不能，而这个考点的考察频率高到吓人。
